The Lunette Menstrual Cup is easy to use, comfortable, and will not affect the natural lubrication of the vagina. Empty only 2 to 4 times a day, the Lunette can be used overnight, and can also be used when playing any sport. The cup has a totally smooth lining that makes it very easy to clean, has measuring lines for monitoring flow, and can safely be used with both an IUD and a contraceptive ring.
The Lunette cup, model 1Is recommended for light to medium flow or for ladies who have never had sexual intercourse. The diameter is 41 mm (1.6 inches) by 47 mm (1.9 inches). The stem measures 25 mm (1 inch). The volume of the cup is 25 ml (0.85 fl oz). Model 1 is made from softer silicone than model 2.
Please note: The Lunette Menstrual Cup must not be worn during post-natal bleeding.

Just like any other reusable product, your Lunette Cup should stay clean before and after insertion.
Cleaning During Your Period: First, tip the blood into the toilet. Rinse with cold water and then wash with warm water. Use Lunette’s specially formulated menstrual cup wash to make it squeaky clean.
Your period is finally over – now what? When your period is over, disinfect your cup by either boiling your cup or using Lunette disinfecting Cupwipes. Lunette should be disinfected before and after your cycle.
First-time users: Check that the air holes around the top are fully open. Wash your hands and clean your cup with water and mild soap (seriously, none of that scented crap!) Boil it in a large pot for 20 minutes before you use it for the first time.
