Want something nice to do with the kids today? Why not make gingerbread men or a gingerbread house. It is a great way to show the kids how to bake and be creative with their icing. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it is always fun. And if you are not the baking type, there are kits available at supermarkets and speciality food stores, that have the gingerbread pieces already made. All you have to do is ice.
This is what we made last year. The kids were very proud of themselves as it didn't fall apart.
Then maybe give it as a gift.
