Wishing you an earthly passionate New Year

I'm not going to talk for too long, as I am off to party like I'm sure most of you are tonight. It is time to look at the year ahead and think about the the resolutions you'want to make. Now you know I have a few suggestions, most will look after the earth, but some will also look after you and your health. Here they are:

1. Change your eating habits

Eat organic as much as possible. Eat better quality meat and less of it. Cook from scratch.

2. Plan your meals

Cook from scratch, batch cook and eat healthier. Your body will love it, you will create less waste and you will save a bit of cash.

3. Make a habit of using reusable drinkware and dinnerware

It is so easy these days to get stainless steel or glass drink bottles. Even for parties you can use disposables plates, cups and utensils that are biodegaradable. Where possible avoid plastic.

4. Remove toxic cleaning products from your home

Washing dishes, in the laundry and in the bathroom you can make huge changes. If you are game, make your own washing solutions. Baking soda, vinegar and lemon will become your friend.

5. Change your Make Up routine

Remove personal care products and make-up that contain toxic chemicals.

6. Use less energy

Switch off power to appliances when not in use. Dry clothes outdoors rather than using the drier.

7. Avoid the car

Where possible, walk, carpool or take public transport.

8. Bring bags with you when shopping

Avoid collecting plastic shopping bags, but if you do collect some, amke sure you recycle them. Most supermarkets have a recycling service.

I said I would be short. We hope your resolutions include one or more of these suggestions or that you simply decide to live a greener lifestyle.

We hope you celebrate well and have much to look forward to in 2017.

Happy New Year.

Looking forward to suggesting more earthly passionate ideas to you in the New Year,

Attracta & the earthly passion team
